Support Organisations

Scotland and UK based (in alphabetical order)

An inclusive organisation that empowers and supports Muslim and BME women.

A space where experienced advisors will listen and offer information and advice; an alternative and easily accessible ‘first stop’ service; assistance at an early stage in order to stop problems escalating.

ChildLine offers a free, confidential 24-hour telephone and online counselling service for any child or young person under the age of 18 with any problem

A service that lets you pass on information about a crime 100% anonymously

This organisation works to remove child sexual abuse contents online. Images of children and young people aged up to 18 can be reported directly on their website.

Access to a wide range of information on, for example, sexual health, support organisations, social groups, the commercial ‘scene’ and where to get support with any issues for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT+) people in Scotland.

Free and confidential support and information for anyone, women and men, affected by sexual violence, no matter when or how it happened. They can also put you in touch with local rape crisis centres or other services for ongoing support.

UK service supporting adults (aged 18+) who are experiencing intimate image abuse.

Provide confidential, emotional support, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Provides advice, support and safe accommodation for women (and their children) who have been abused by their partner or ex-partner. They can recommend local groups.

Free legal help for women affected by violence, such as domestic abuse, rape, stalking, forced marriage and human trafficking. Phone the helpline or book an appointment for one of the surgeries in Dundee, Edinburgh, Forth Valley, Glasgow, Inverness, Lanarkshire.

Provides information and support for victims of crime.

Provides a common safe place for experiencers (victims) to share their journey, access support and discuss and share common feelings without being judged.
